No damage estimate yet; could take a few days

As waters receded from Wednesday's massive flood, New Braunfels officials began what they said would be an ongoing process of assessing the amount of damage to homes, businesses and city infrastructure. City Manager Mike Morrison said teams began identifying those low-lying areas hardest hit by flood Wednesday morning to help rescue teams aid anyone stranded or in danger.
