Online MBA Offered To Insurance Pros
Thursday, March 21st, 2002 TechnologyWalden University in Minneapolis announced it is partnering with the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters and the Insurance Institute of America to offer insurance professionals a masters degree in business administration via an online learning program. The university, which offers online graduate education and professional development certificate programs, said it has signed an agreement with both AICPCU and IIA. Under the agreement, Walden will apply AICPCU/IIA credits toward degree requirements in Walden's online master of business administration program with a focus on institutional finance and insurance. The program will allow the AICPCU's 150,000 members to advance their careers by earning an MBA in less than two years.
