State police are working Sunday to recover a boat that was sunk Saturday night when an allegedly drunk operator struck a rock, causing the vessel to sink in Boston Harbor. Massachusetts State Police said they responded to Boston Harbor at 7:18 p.m. on Saturday to a report of a 50-foot Sea Ray that was in distress after hitting a rock between Spectacle Island and the Long Island bridge. Police said the driver of the boat and five passengers were thrown into the front of the boat, though they only suffered minor injuries.
