Washington County sheriff’s deputies cited a driver following a crash that left her truck stuck in a tree about 10 feet from the ground Sunday morning near Sherwood, the agency said. Emily Van Vleck, 19, of St. Paul, was cited on accusations of criminal mischief and hit and run, said Sgt. Bob Ray, a sheriff’s office spokesman. She reportedly was not at the scene when her truck was first discovered. Shortly after 7:30 a.m. Sunday, emergency responders received a 9-1-1 call reporting the pickup in the tree. Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue crews arrived and found the truck at Oregon 99W and Southwest Middleton Road, the fire district said.
