New Hampshire State Police said they have identified the driver of a truck that lost a 2,000-pound beam in Stoddard on Thursday, causing a three-car crash on Route 9. Police said the driver works for Zanco Express out of Lebanon, Tenn., and was driving to Contoocook when the beam fell off. The truck was carrying sawmill parts to HMC Corp, police said. The Contoocook company called police after they discovered one of the parts of their shipment was missing, and that part matched the one described in a News 9 story that aired Thursday.
