Police: Woman hit, killed by hotel valet two days before wedding anniversary

A woman was struck and killed by a car driven by a hotel valet driver late Friday night according to police in Richmond, Virginia. Josephine Stone, 23, was killed outside the Hilton Garden Inn near the intersection of 5th and Broad Streets in downtown Richmond. Police investigating the accident say charges are pending against the valet driver. Stone’s husband John Stone says the couple was days away from celebrating their second wedding anniversary.
