Fifteen children were on a New York City school bus when it collided with a yellow cab and a livery cab in Queens, sending it crashing into a building, police said. The bus struck the building on 59th Street in Woodside just before 5 p.m. It appears the bus just missed striking the entrance to a pizzeria on the building’s ground floor. The children on the bus refused medical attention on the scene and were released to their parents, the FDNY said. Four adults were hurt in the crash: the school bus driver, both taxi drivers and a pizzeria worker who was injured by a buckling wall were all taken to Elmhurst Hospital, according to the FDNY.
