Study: Med-Mal Payouts Rise Only 4% Yet Doctors Flock To Cap States
Wednesday, June 1st, 2005 LiabilityA new study finds that growth in malpractice payments was consistent with increases in health care spending between the years 1991 and 2003. According to a study released by the journal Health Affairs, payments grew only 4 percent per year during this period, however extreme judgment awards did not drive these increases.
