SUV Crashes Into Queens Supermarket

An SUV driven by an elderly woman crashed into a supermarket in Queens Tuesday evening, injuring several people, authorities said. Five people were hurt, the FDNY said. Three were taken to New York Hospital-Queens and two to Elmhurst Hospital. All were listed in serious but stable condition. The accident happened at the Pathmark store on 31-06 Farringdon Street in Flushing just after 6 p.m. The NYPD did not identify the 72-year-old driver but said no charges would be filed, reported the NY Post.
