Texas pickup truck driver hits house, injures sleeping woman

A pickup truck lost control on a rain slicked road in northwest Harris County overnight and slammed into a home. It happened on Sky Blue Lane and Summer Mist. Neighbors say they saw the truck driver going too fast. The driver lost control and hit the corner of the home. The accident sent debris flying into a bedroom where a woman was sleeping. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance and is expected to survive. Eyewitness News spoke to the father and 8-year-old daughter who were also inside when this happened.
