To get insurance claims patients are exaggerating injuries
Friday, December 10th, 2010 Fraud LiabilityFour out of five doctors believe that they have come across patients who have made up an injury totally for claiming insurances. Patients turn up with some problem which they call whiplash and ninety two percent of General Practitioners think that this is an exaggerated injury. The study also indicated that six out of ten GPs reported that the numbers of fake patients have risen over the last two years.
