Tropical wave grows in the Caribbean

A tropical wave is being monitored in the central Caribbean about 900 miles south-southeast of Miami. The wave has become better organized over the past 24 hours and has a 40 percent chance of developing over the next two days, according to the National Hurricane Center. Conditions remain favorable for gradual development, and a Hurricane Hunter aircraft has been sent to investigage.
