Deputies braved an inferno at the scene of a collision to pull a woman from her burning car in South Vero Beach. The heroic act is all caught on camera. The crash happened at 66th Avenue and Oslo Road, just before 11 a.m. A septic tanker truck passed through the intersection when another car pulled in front of it. The two vehicles collided. The impact sent the car into a flatbed truck. The truck and car caught fire. Indian River County Sheriff’s Deputy Robert Sunkel rushed to the scene.
A frantic truck driver told Sunkel the woman couldn’t get out of her car.
