It was like the scene out of a movie, an out of control bus slams into cars, houses, a church and a dumpster before coming to rest on a porch, with it all unfolding in real life in Lebanon late Wednesday night. It was a wild ride for a Lebanon Transit bus that was carrying 23 people when it crashed. Seventeen of those on board needed to be hospitalized for evaluation. Lebanon Fire Commissioner Duane Trautman said emergency crews first got calls for a vehicle that struck a house near 9th and Chestnut streets, with crews learning that location was about a half of a mile from the spot where the bus eventually stopped.
