The Navy says negotiations are underway to decide what to do with a 50-foot yacht that washed ashore at a base near San Diego. The Navy said Wednesday that strong winds and a high tide carried the Mona Mona more than two weeks ago to a beach at Naval Air Station North Island in Coronado. The Navy is trying to decide with the owner of the San Francisco-registered yacht whether the ocean-trawler can be saved. Images shown on KSWB-TV show the once-luxury cruiser partially submerged in water.
