Iowa couple allegedly served ’Marijuana McDouble’ at McDonald’s

Two patrons of Ottumwa’s Southside McDonald’s claim the sandwich they ordered late last month was topped with marijuana. On the evening of April 26, Cory Long, 31, ordered two McDoubles for his pregnant fiance, Brittany Songer, 23, from Southside McDonald’s, located at 222 Richmond Avenue. The Post spoke with Lieutenant Jason Bell of the Ottumwa Police Department (OPD) to find out more. “There are two people who have reported that they consumed bites from the hamburger in question, therefore there are two victims…. They were essentially sharing a hamburger when [the alleged marijuana] was discovered,” said Lieutenant Bell.
