A Brooklyn man has filed a $2 million federal lawsuit claiming that NYPD police officers falsely arrested him and neutered his dog. Bushwick resident Gregory Drummond claims that officers came to his apartment building last September to deal with a domestic dispute between his downstairs neighbors and ended up arresting him under false pretenses. According to Drummond, police grabbed one of the tenants, "put their hands in his pocket, retrieved keys for the gate and the property, and entered the apartment," Courthouse News reported. Police accused Drummond of squatting, arrested him and brought his dog to the pound. Believing that the canine was a stray, a pound employee neutered the animal.
