Costco Sued For Misreatment of Employee With Tourette’s

Monday, February 2nd, 2015 Liability Litigation Risk Management

New management at a Long Island Costco was so cruel to a longtime employee with Tourette’s syndrome that he had to be hospitalized over the incessant taunting, according to a new lawsuit. Christopher Fox, 38, who has worked at the Holbrook store since age 19, triumphed over his condition, writing a book, performing comedy on YouTube and speaking to schoolchildren, according to his Brooklyn federal-court suit. “I was mocked because of my vocal tic,” Fox told The Post. He also learned to compliment customers when he felt the urge to shout out expletives.
