Damage claims pour in

State-based property and casualty insurers on Monday were handling hail damage claims resulting from severe thunderstorms that moved across portions of Wisconsin and other parts of the Midwest on Sunday. Madison-based American Family Insurance declared a catastrophe for Dane County as a result of expected hail damage claims, said spokeswoman Janet Masters.
