Georgians Get Back More Than $8.5 Million in Insurance Claims

Georgia Insurance Commissioner Ralph Hudgens’ office helped Peach State residents get $8.5 million from insurance claim disputes in 2014. "Last year representatives in my Consumer Services Division helped 9,719 consumers and businesses retrieve $8,549,340.02," Hudgens said, in a statement. "Many of the citizens who called my office had claim disputes with insurance companies, and our investigators were able to secure a settlement favorable to the consumer."
