Keeping the Promise

Customer service is one of the most important promises an insurer makes to customers. But when customers are at the other end of a modem, how does the insurer keep this promise? Technology is one of the keys to helping insurers keep promises. As new technology is implemented, the focus must be on customers. What do they want? And perhaps more importantly: what they do they need? Customers may want what you can provide, but may not be aware that it is available. The focus has to be on business needs, not on the latest "trendy" technology. Since technology is advancing so rapidly, however, it is hard to know which new technologies will help and which ultimately fail. Technology can provide new ways of delivering products and services that we couldn't even imagine a few years ago.
