Miami Rehab Clinic Owner and Staff Face Felony Charges in Alleged Insurance Fraud Bust

The owner of Ace Medical & Rehab Center in Miami, along with two employees, have been arrested and charged with multiple felonies, including racketeering and insurance fraud. Authorities conducted an undercover sting after receiving tips about suspicious activities at the clinic.

The investigation revealed that the clinic had billed insurance companies for services that were never provided, such as therapy sessions and exaggerated injuries. The fraudulent claims totaled $47,310, which were billed to United Auto Insurance.

The trio face more than two dozen charges, including conspiracy and organized fraud, and were being held at a Miami detention center on varying bond amounts. Investigators believe the scheme was orchestrated to inflate claims for financial gain.
