Potholes And Asphalt Dangers Prompt Woman To Seek Half Million

A Pendleton woman who says she sprained a wrist, an ankle and fell unconscious after tripping on potholes and asphalt piles in a city parking lot wants the city to pay her more than $550,000. Lezlie Perkins says she was walking "carefully and prudently" when her mishaps occurred on the afternoon of Dec. 21, 2011. Her lawyer, Wade Bettis, says his client is in "constant pain".
