Citys Insurer To Cover Stadium Turf Ruined By Concertgoers
City taxpayers will pay just $63,000 of the $388,000 cost of replacing the artificial turf at Veterans Memorial Stadium that was ruined during a concert following an agreement by Travelers Insurance to pay $325,000 to install the new turf, Mayor Daniel Rivera told the City Council Tuesday.
