Can you name the seven dwarves? What would be written on your tombstone? And are there wolves in Australia? Today’s jobseekers are being asked some downright bizarre interview questions, a new survey has found. Employers are straying from the typical “list your strengths and weaknesses” line to genuinely oddball questions. A survey of 580 Australian job hunters by online jobs platform OneShift has revealed jobseekers are being asked everything from “Are there wolves in Australia?” to “On a day-to-day basis, what number do you think of the most?” Some interviewers opted for imaginative scenarios, asking potential employees: “If you could have a day on earth where you could do one thing as much as you wanted, what would it be?’ and “Would you wear a sombrero at the airport so company guests could identify you during pick-up?”
