Oklahoma Employer Traffic Safety Program Aims To Save Lives, Money

One of the costliest aspects of running a business is also one of the most often overlooked — traffic safety. Whether crashes occur on or off the job, employers foot the bill, through everything from insurance premiums to productivity losses. On average, 81 percent of the fringe benefits an employer pays are a result of off the job behavior. In November, the Our Driving Concern Oklahoma Employer Traffic Safety Program launched with a mission of literally assisting employers across the state in saving lives and saving money. The program is an initiative of the National Safety Council, a 100-year-old nonprofit organization working to eliminate preventable deaths in our lifetime.
