Fire crews worked late into the night Wednesday containing a large fire that broke out earlier in the afternoon. Firefighters were called out to the Ashwood Ridge Apartments on Upper Riverdale Road in Jonesboro around 3 p.m. because of the fire.

New data released today by the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) shows a total of 22,705 vehicles were reported stolen on the 11 holidays in 2016 covered in this report.
