Interstate 85 in Concord reopened early Tuesday morning after a BMW smashed into a fire truck responding to a wreck. It happened just before 1:30 a.m. on I-85 northbound near Exit 49, Concord Mills Boulevard. Troopers say the fire truck was on the scene of a crash and was blocking two lanes to help redirect traffic when the wreck happened.
