Drivers Arm Broken By Debris Smashing Through Windshield
A 19-year-old Washington resident was hospitalized Friday afternoon after a piece of metal broke free from a truck and smashed into his windshield. The driver was heading south on SR-97 about 13 miles outside of Leavenworth, Washington when a metal cylinder broke free from a flatbed truck hauling four hydraulic lift arms used for garbage trucks.
